Häufige Fragen

Wo liegen meine Daten?

No account

Kassora has no sign-in and no user account. Support runs entirely through GitHub issues, not through an account inside the app.

Frequently asked questions

Where is my data stored?

Exclusively on your device, in a local database inside the app container. Nothing leaves the device on its own.

Can I back it up?

The CSV export gives you a complete copy of every entry at any time — sent to a destination of your choice through the system share sheet, for example to your own Files app or by emailing it to yourself. That is enough for filing and for the annual audit. Kassora cannot read the file back in, however: it is a copy to keep, not a backup to restore from.

What happens if I change phones?

Your data only carries over if you set up the new device from an iCloud device backup of the old one — Kassora's database is then part of that backup. This version of the app has no sync of its own between devices. If you set up the new device as a “new iPhone” instead, the Kassora data stays behind on the old device.

Why does the app need no account?

Because it synchronises nothing with a server. All data stays on the device, so an account would have no purpose.
